Finding the right makeup artist is so hard as you want to look perfect on your wedding day. I met Sofia for a makeup tutorial at my house where she showed off her amazing skills and dolled me up. Sofia was extremely professional and I was keen to book her for my wedding day.Sofia was absolutely fantastic she was on time to get me prepared for my special day. Whilst doing my hair mid way through I wasn’t too keen on the hairstyle however at no point did she get angry and she quickly worked extremely well under pressure ensuring she created the perfect hairstyle which I was super pleased with. The makeup was absolutely flawless and she ensured that I was happy throughout as she knew how important this would be. I felt extremely reassured and so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt like she treated me a friend rather than a customer.
I highly recommend using Sofia she is absolutely fantastic and she will not fail to amaze you with her creativity to look special.
My wedding day is a day I will not forget. Thank you Sofia for making it so special xx

Just remembering what an amazing time I had and how beautiful both my husband and I looked. Don’t mind if I say so myself lol this makeup would not have been complete if I didn’t have Sofia Shakir. Thank you once again.
I found Sofia and gave her a call. She was very good at communicating and answered any questions I had. I sent pictures of my face and hair so she could get an idea of what she has to work with. I did not have a trial beforehand so was a bit nervous using someone from an ad and not word of mouth.But… wow. This woman blew me away!! She made me feel like the most beautiful woman on the planet on my special day. She is a perfectionist and took the time to get anything just right. My makeup and hair lasted all day. I would definitely use her again.

Looking back at my wedding pics and one thing I still can’t believe was how flawless my makeup looked!! In my eyes the most perfect Indian wedding makeup look and exactly what I had in mind from day one…One thing I will never forget was how lovely and supportive Sofia was during couple wedding hiccups! “Sofia first dolled me up at my Sister’s wedding & I told her to keep her calendar free in 2 years time for me (the whole year – I had no idea when my wedding would be back then). She is incredibly professional, listens and creates the exact look you want & does it in good time also (I have had MUAs in the past that have made me late for events due to being so slow).It’s so hard to find and trust a good MUA for your wedding & Sofia was amazing! She created 2 amazing looks for me which probably wasn’t the easiest as I unexpectedly broke out with eczema for the first time in my life and she made me feel so much better and worked her magic and my skin looked flawless! Sofia also always messaged me back if I had any queries or concerns about my looks and always made time to speak to me prior to the wedding if I needed.
It’s so important to build a good relationship with your MUAs and it works both ways too. Sofia also sorts her own travel & accommodation out if necessary and this might seem an obvious requirement but I have had previous MUAs be so demanding and act like they have no idea how to use google. So Hire Sofia, you will not be disappointed!”
